Terms of Service

Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Frontend Dummies (frontenddummies.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Frontend Dummies provides frontend interview preparation material, including JavaScript and React coding challenges with an in-browser code editor, editorial write-ups, articles, and related learning resources. The service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.

3. Accounts

Some features, such as saving your solutions and tracking progress, require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to notify us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, other users' accounts, or the systems and networks the site runs on.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download site content beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, including submitting code to the in-browser editor that is intended to attack or overload our infrastructure.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

5. Intellectual Property

The original content on this site — articles, editorials, challenge write-ups, and site design — is owned by Frontend Dummies unless otherwise noted. You may use the practice problems and code samples for personal learning and interview preparation. You may not republish substantial portions of the site's content commercially without permission. Many challenges are well-known interview problems that are asked, in one form or another, across the industry; their statements, examples, write-ups and solutions here are written for this site.

Code you write in the editor remains yours. By saving a solution to your account, you grant us the right to store and display it back to you as part of the service.

6. Advertising

The site displays advertisements served by third parties, including Google AdSense. Ad content is provided by advertisers, and we do not endorse the products or services advertised. See our Privacy Policy for details on how advertising cookies are used and how to opt out of personalized advertising.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the material is error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that practicing here will lead to any particular interview or career outcome. Educational content reflects our best understanding and may become outdated as web technologies evolve.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frontend Dummies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the site, including loss of data, loss of profits, or interview outcomes.

9. Termination

You may stop using the site or delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue any part of the service, or to terminate access for users who violate these terms.
